Advanced Ice Skills

Our philosophy is to build skills through progressive based teaching and offering a positive and encouraging learning environment. Advanced Ice skills offers camps and programs for all ages and skill levels and are formatted to fall in line with age specific skill development. All camps and Skill sessions are designed to improve the participant’s game abilities by improving all basic skills.

The best way to teach children and to improve their skills is to make the programs FUN! Our programs aim to keep the participants involved and interested by offering drills and games that use the skills taught but are fun and enjoyable for the participants. The On-Ice Curriculum is developed specifically for females by females with years of both playing and coaching Ringette.

Join us this summer for our annual Advanced Ice Skills Ringette Summer Camp!! This camp is hosted by Coquitlam-Moody Ringette you must be a registered with your local association to be eligible for this camp.

Upcoming Events:

3rd Annual Summer Ringette Skills Camp
Dates: Tuesday-Saturday, August 7-11 2012
Location: Coquitlam Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre

Group 1 U10 Bunny-Novice Tuesday-Saturday 6:00pm – 7:00 pm

This camp will improve players skating and Ringette skills through a series of Fun games and Drills that will keep them interested and having fun. This camp is for Bunny aged players and Novice players with less than two years playing experience. All skill levels are welcome, but players must be able to stand and move independently.

Group 2 U13 Novice-Petite Tuesday-Saturday 7:15pm – 8:15pm

This camp will focus on improving Ringette and skating skills as well as individual endurance. The curriculum is designed for Novice players with at least two years playing experience and Petite aged players. Players will be exposed to more advanced Ringette drills and skills.
